| Two miscellaneous brass objects recovered from the Reed Farmstead site. The object on the left is the tongue portion of a brass buckle or catch with geometric decoration. It would have been attached to leather or cloth strapping. The object on the right is the face of a small brass padlock that measures only about 1 inch across. Small padlocks such as this typically were used to lock items such as boxes. | ||||
